Available resources include Loch
Nevis, sheltered rocky shores, exposed rocky shores, rock pools,
sandy shores, islands and associated inter-tidal habitats, rivers
and freshwater lochs. For the more adventurous, field trips to
Skye, Rum and Eigg are easily arranged
Catch your own fish, invertebrates
and plankton; classify the catch, identify the organisms,
investigate how they are adapted to their particular habitats and
create a food web for Loch Nevis - all done on the sea rather than
in the classroom. this is a unique educational experience that is
never forgotten
Design your own individual project of work as part of a team
For those with the appropriate diving qualifications underwater
photography, recording and survey techniques are available
Terrestrial resources include woodland, moorland, raised
beaches and of course the mountains

experience in the marine environment
